If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address and, where provided, your name in order to send you information about FRUIT. events, products and related content.

 

We use a double opt-in procedure. After registering, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. Your subscription will only become active after confirmation.

Mailchimp is based in the United States and may process personal data in the United States. Mailchimp states that it is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and uses appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

7. EVENT BOOKINGS AND TICKETS

 

If you purchase a ticket for one of our events, we process the personal data necessary to process and manage your booking.

 

Depending on the booking and payment method, this may include:

 

- first and last name

- email address

- billing information

- ticket and booking information

- payment-related information

- information necessary for customer service and event administration

 

We use this information to process your booking, provide your ticket, communicate with you about the event and fulfil our contractual obligations.

We may also process certain data to comply with legal obligations, in particular accounting and tax requirements.

8. PAYMENT SERVICES

 

Depending on the payment method selected during the booking process, payments may be processed by third-party payment service providers, including Stripe, PayPal and Klarna.

 

The payment provider may process payment and transaction information necessary to process your payment, prevent fraud and comply with legal requirements.

 

The respective payment provider processes personal data in accordance with its own privacy policy and applicable data protection laws.

 

We do not store complete payment card details on our own systems.

 

 

9. SOCIAL MEDIA LINKS

 

Our website contains links to our social media profiles, including Instagram.

 

These are ordinary external links. We do not embed Instagram content or social media feeds directly into our website.

 

Personal data is generally only transmitted to the respective social media provider when you follow the external link and visit the provider's website.

14. EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO RECORDINGS

 

Photos and video recordings may be made during FRUIT. events for the purposes of documenting and promoting our events and the FRUIT. brand.

 

The recordings may be used on our website, social media channels, newsletters and other promotional communications.

 

We may also provide selected photographs or video recordings to service providers commissioned by us, such as photographers, videographers or agencies, where necessary for the creation and publication of event content.

 

The legal basis for processing may be Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in documenting our events, communicating about our activities and promoting the FRUIT. brand, taking into account the reasonable expectations and rights of the persons concerned.

 

Where required by law or where the circumstances call for it, we will obtain consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

 

We aim to avoid unnecessarily focusing on individual persons and, where possible, use photographs and recordings showing groups or the general atmosphere of the event.

 

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please contact us before or during the event at hi@fruit.events. We will take reasonable steps to accommodate your request.

 

If you appear in a photograph or video and wish to object to its further use, please contact us at hi@fruit.events and identify the relevant recording as precisely as possible.
